Energy follows thought.
Be mindful of what you think.

Heal From Within reflects a belief in the system of Chinese medicine that we have within us everything we need to be healthy and to heal ourselves. Stress, environmental toxins, injuries and lifestyle choices, such as diet and preferred activities or lack of activity, may create problems that we don't know exactly how to alleviate. Through the use of acupuncture and Mind/Body Therapies, Lisa facilitates a natural healing process, unique to each individual.

A Healthy Approach to Wellness

The Chinese system of diagnosing and treating imbalance is practical and sensible. Acupuncture is relaxing and nourishing. It is not painful. Needles are used only once, and then discarded.t Courses of treatment vary according to the condition.

Both the World Health Organization and the National Institutes of Health have confirmed that acupuncture is an effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions. Statement: "One of the advantages of acupuncture is that the incidence of adverse effects is substantially lower than that of many drugs or other accepted medical procedures used for the same conditions. The evidence supporting these therapies (drugs or medical procedures) is no better than that for acupuncture."

Pain, discomfort or illness need not dictate your lifestyle or control your life. We have, for the most part, everything we need to be healthy and to heal ourselves. Sometimes we get blocked. We’re exposed to environmental toxins. We have some not-so-healthy habits that contribute to our dis-ease (diet, work habits, activities). We suffer traumas from time to time that weaken our systems. Any type of stress, physical or emotional, also weakens our bodies.
